The Salvation Army needs assistance to sort and pack food from the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday. Volunteers can come to the main office located at 1707 West Chestnut Expressway to help.
“The food drive on Saturday was a success. However, we greatly need help to organize the food that came in so it can be used in our many feeding programs,” said Major Mike Mills.
Volunteers are needed from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. over the next four days, to sort, pack and move food. Food donated is used in our food pantry program, as well as three feeding programs that operate throughout the year.
