The Salvation Army will serve its annual Community Christmas Dinner on Monday, December 25th from 12:00p.m. to 1:00pm. Community members are invited to attend this free Christmas meal. Christmas lunch will be served at The Salvation Army Main Office at 1707 West Chestnut Expressway.
“We are grateful to be able to give everyone in our community a place to celebrate the birth of Christ,” said Major Butch Frost. “This is a wonderful time of fellowship and food for those who may not have anywhere else to go on Christmas Day.”
The annual Christmas Dinner brings together residents from all walks of life for a traditional Christmas meal. Village Inn has donated the pies for dessert and Lambert’s is donating their famous rolls.
Last year, The Salvation Army provided nearly 250 community members with a Christmas meal.
